Elie Farkouh's
people skills make him a valued member of the DCL Construction management
team.
Supervisory
responsibility for safety and human resource management are entrusted
to Elie 's strong organizational skills. He has a front-line role
in supervising and coordinating relations with DCL clients and its
building trades. His loss-management responsibilities include developing
and implementing DCL's health and safety guidelines, tracking trends,
and conducting field and equipment inspections.
Elie has applied
his extensive skills in contract management and budget planning
at resource-related sites throughout Western Canada. Working with
Calvan Canus and other caterers, he has managed multi-million dollar
operations, including inventory control, tender preparation and
purchasing for construction camps housing up to 1,800 workers.
Formal training
backs his on-site financial and personnel experience. He has completed
Alberta Construction Safety Association courses as well as other
leadership and business administration programs.
Elie has earned
a reputation for fostering productive working relationships among
various groups, including building trades, Aboriginals and clients.
He has developed local protocols for Aboriginal hiring and formed
joint ventures with Native bands.
